The Animal Welfare League NSW has been looking after animals in our State for over 60 years. We are committed to rescuing abused animals, surrendered animals, and animals affected by disasters and emergencies. This is important work and relies on dedicated people who share our passions and determination to look after the most vulnerable, return them to health and find them long term permanent homes. We are committed to ‘Getting to Zero’ for all healthy animals.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inspector to join the organisation. You will promote and enforce compliance with laws that regulate animal care and protection. You will conduct investigations into animal welfare incidents and provide education in animal care to the community. A suitable motor vehicle is provided, plus laptop and mobile.
If you share a love for animals and their welfare, and want to play a crucial part in our future, have the skills, experience and passion we seek, write to us with a cover letter explaining why we should meet you. Include your resume. As this is a full-time permanent role, only those with unrestricted work rights in Australia can be considered at this time. Please note: Detailed background, health, criminal record and reference checks form part of the recruitment process for this role.
We look forward to hearing from you.
