Activus Transport is a not for profit organisation based at Engadine in the Sutherland Shire. We provide door to door transport to clients with mobility restrictions due to age or disability. We are seeking to employ a casual driver (2-3 days a week) Tuesday - Friday to transport clients to medical and social activities.

Drivers will be paid under the SCHCADSI Award Level 1/Year 3. Employees also have the added benefit of salary packaging.

Applicant requirements include:

• Empathy and caring disposition
• Minimum LR driver’s licence
• Able to drive both buses and cars
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to assist clients
• Knowledge of WHS procedures
• Competent IT skills
• Ability to work with frail aged and people with a disability
• A Medical assessment and criminal records checks will apply
• Ability to sit for and pass NSW Bus Drivers Authority

Desirable:

• Current NSW Bus Drivers Authority.
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Manual handling experience
