Adult Autism Services (AAS) is a post-school program for young adults with autism located in Gladesville and surrounds. We foster a positive, supportive and collaborative workplace culture and we hope to find the right support workers to join our team!

Requirements

We are looking for support workers with at least 1 year experience in supporting non - verbal participants and those with complex behaviours. Someone who can think on their feet and support their participants using autism principles.

Please note: Only applicants that meet all the requirements will be considered.

• Be eligible to work in Australia
• Minimum Certificate IV in disability, community service or similar
• Working with Children’s Check
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including a booster
• A ‘can do’ enthusiastic approach to active support
• Strong teamwork skills
• Knowledge of the sector (desirable, however, on the job training is provided)
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
