We are seeking an enthusiastic support worker for a young woman who is clever and quick-witted with a strong sense of fairness and justice. She has a passion for music, enjoys being physically active and dabbling in arts and crafts. She enjoys the company of others who appeal to her smarts and value her as a young adult.

This young person is in an exploratory phase of life, with goals for engagement in meaningful and sustainable employment options. Although she is living with her family now, she needs supporters who can assist her to develop daily living skills in a peer-based learning model for when she is ready to explore alternative living arrangements in the future.

Requirements:

• Must be available on Tuesdays (9:30am-2:30pm) & Fridays (8:30am-1:30pm)
• Must have own ABN or a willingness to obtain
• Valid Driver’s licence and fully insured & reliable vehicle
• Current positive notice for working with vulnerable people or willingness to obtain.
