  • We work closely with the family/carer to ensure their young person is given support and a worker that responds to their needs

The Role

The role of the Program Coordinator is to develop and coordinate the Allcare Community Support Victoria Program. This exciting position will give you an opportunity to work autonomously with the support of a great team.

The position is part time, 15.2 hours per week with the flexibility to work hours that suit you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of the program, coordinate delivery of high quality services to NDIS eligible clients aged between 7 to 25 years of age.
  • Coordinate and oversee the NDIS planning and coordination of supports to our clients, including provision of accurate Service Agreements, client applications, Roster of Care etc.
  • Be a part of creating a positive and effective culture within the program that delivers consistent operational results and client outcomes.
  • Develop networks to promote and grow client services.
  • Build strong rapport and relationships with clients, families and carers and ensure channels of communication are open, positive and productive.

We are looking for a empathetic, and respectful person who is looking to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You will be a proactive and inspiring leader who can hit the ground running to manage strategic and day-to-day operations and further develop the program to ensure that it is in the forefront in the provision of disability services for young people.

You will have the skills to self manage, problem solve, plan and organise, have leadership skills, be innovative, value services and diversity.

POSITION CRITERIA

  • Understanding of NDIS Disability Framework policies and procedures, including quality standards and person-centred approach
  • At least 2 years people management and/or case coordination experience in a disability, health or aged care environment
  • Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues relating to the provision of disability services including knowledge and experience in the marketing of a developing business
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and personally deal with complex participant matters
  • Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team player, who is also capable to work autonomously with minimum supervision
  • Current and valid driver’s licence and access to a fully insured vehicle

Desirable Criteria

  • Understanding of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and/or experience in similar programs
