About us

The Op Shop program operating as part of Anglicare WA umbrella of services retails good quality recycled clothes and household goods at affordable prices. And by doing so generates revenue for all our services that support individuals and families in our local communities.  

About the role

Working as part of the Op Shop team reporting to the Store Manager, you will support the opening, closing and day to day running of the store. This includes tagging, hanging and preparing clothes for sale, arranging visual displays, cash handling and end of day banking. You will motivate and mentor new volunteers and staff and undertake cleaning duties as required. 

About you

You are an experienced and reliable individual and is driven to make a real difference. You will have knowledge of sale targets and an understanding of visual merchandising.  

You will:

  • Have customer service experience, preferably within the retail industry
  • Be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressure
  • Be a team player with a passion to deliver high quality services to customers
  • Be reasonably fit, so as to be able to safely perform allocated tasks, such as moving stock 

We are currently seeking a casual pool to be available to work across all our stores including, Midland, Maddington, Morley, Kelmscott, Belmont and Fremantle. Days and hours of work will vary depending on the needs of our stores. 

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a WA Driver’s Licence.

  • Casual hourly rate $29.96 +  weekend penalties
