We are looking for a key person who would love a challenge in working in the Housing and Homelessness sector and who wants to make positive changes in people's lives. Our Coordinator will know how to lead, manage, supervise and support staff, oversee and report on finances, liaise with external stakeholders and oversee all aspects of managing Specialist Homelessness Support, Community Housing and Domestic Violence accommodation services.
This permanent full-time Coordinator role is responsible for the daily operations of the housing and homelessness services, working with a small case management team and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The minimum qualification for the role is a Diploma of Community Services with extensive experience or, preferably Bachelor's Degree (or Degree equivalent) in Human Services. Knowledge of Specialist Housing Services, excellent communication skills and a driver's licence are also essential. Demonstrated experience working with individuals and families with high support needs is desirable, including working in culturally inclusive ways with Aboriginal people, families and communities.
The salary for this position is $88,761 - $92,773 (depending on experience), with a 10.5% employer superannuation guarantee. Generous salary packaging benefits are available under Anglicare's PBI status. Anglicare also offers other benefits, including additional personal and paid parental leave.
