Who are we?

Applied Abilities is a growing NDIS provider who delivers SLES (School Leaver Employment Support) and Finding and Keeping a job. We believe that every person, regardless of their disability, should have the opportunity to engage within the workforce. Our caseload comprises of youths who are about to leave school, youths who have lefts school AND PWD of all ages.

What we are looking for:

  • Adaptability and Versatility. No two days are the same. One day you may be assisting our participants with handing out resumes within the community and the next day, you may be working from home following up on those leads.
  • Tenacity and Outcomes focused - our role is to assist our participants in finding and keeping a job. As an employment mentor, we leave no stone unturned in order to create these opportunities.
  • Experience with working with Youth and PWD
  • Previous experience in Disability Employment Services or Job Active contracts, is desired, but not required.
  • Roles available in North Brisbane, Upper Gold Coast, Redlands and Logan

  • Resume and Cover letter creation
  • Cold Canvassing
  • Community and Employer Engagement
  • Organisation of work experience and paid employment opportunities
  • In work support (some participants require 8 or more hours of support per week within the workplace)
