The ANMC is a ‘living memorial’ to the heroism and sacrifice of the Australian nurses who died in World War II or survived years in prison-of-war camps during that time.
As part of its mission to act as “a living memorial” by advancing the nursing profession through education, the ANMC provides and administers scholarships for nurses and midwives undertaking postgraduate study at an Australian university or other accredited higher education institution.
The role requires the provision of a wide range of quality administrative and office support for the day-to-day priorities and activities of the Centre.
You will undertake a variety of tasks in this role such as financial admin, membership maintenance, meeting support, venue bookings, support for event management and other tasks as directed by the Board and the Centre Manager. There may be occasions where you are required to work outside normal working hours for an event.
Your excellent customer service, interpersonal skills in managing information and discretion will be key to your success in this role.
