Brotherhood of St Laurence Aged Care division is looking for an experienced Policy and Procedure Writer. You will be part of a wider team responsible for developing and implementing policy to ensure regulatory compliance. This would suit an individual who has prior policy development and writing experience in an aged care environment.
Key duties
- Develop and implement procedural documents to meet regulatory requirements
- Carry out research, review and analysis of policies, procedures, work instructions, forms and guidelines
- Identify areas for improvement and develop procedural documents as required.
- Build and maintain relationships within the community care division and across the organisation
Experience and skills required
- Relevant qualification in Quality, Aged Care, Health or Community Care
- Demonstrated experience in developing procedural documentation and document management
- Experience in policy advice, development and delivery, preferably in an aged care or community care setting.
- Knowledge of the Community Care and Aged Care regulations and processes
- Excellent research, analysis and policy writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Excellent planning and time management skills to meet deadlines

This is a full time position working 38 hours a week for a maximum term of 12 months based in Frankston.
