We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer working within our highly engaged and collaborative finance department. The Accounts Payable Officer will be based in our head office in Collingwood and will report to the Accounts Payable Senior Officer
This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of team accountabilities which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset registry and emissions reporting.

What you will be doing
- Delivery against Individual and team objectives
- Ensure the timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and staff credit card expense management
- Ensure the collection of non-financial information for Emissions Reporting
- Ensure the accurate and timely maintenance and management of the Fixed Asset Registry
- Ensure the preparation of regulatory reports (Time to Pay) and management reporting for accounts payable
- Implement continuous improvement within the Accounts Payable and with the support of the Head of Finance Operations including the development and implementation policies, procedures and standards of operation for the Accounts Payable team to ensure compliant, effective, efficient and documented processes
- Complete training (including specialist or on-the-job training) to ensure they are adequately trained to perform their duties
- Be a point of reference by providing guidance and support to Bank Australia staff on Accounts Payable areas of responsibility.
