The Training Officer is rare and exciting capability building position, and is part time (minimum 0.8 FTE) fixed term until 31 July 2023 with the possibility of extension. This is a collaborative role working with subject matter experts to design new and tailor existing training modules to meet client needs. This position will work in a cohesive team to deliver training to a broad range of clients. Our training services are designed to support the prevention of violence against women and family violence, to recognise and respond to disclosures of sexual assault and family violence and strengthen workforce capability.

You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the causes of violence against women and children and ideally, you will have relevant training certifications coupled with qualifications in health promotion, social work, gender studies or public health.
With proven advanced communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, you thrive working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, team environment. You will be a values driven person, motivated by projects that make a difference.
If you share our vision for a community free from family violence and sexual assault and are motivated to make a difference, we would like to hear from you. We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and we care for you by investing in your development and wellbeing. We offer leading salary packaging benefits and flexible working arrangements that help you manage your work and your life.
