A fantastic opportunity has arisen to support the Senior Environmental Officer in leading the activities of the Town’s conservation, sustainability and environmental functions.

The position is responsible for assisting with design and implementation of land restoration programs, community engagement activities and environmental projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in conservation management, exceptional communication skills including report writing and presentations, demonstrated project and contract management experience and the ability to foster strong working relationships with the community.

Working Hours

Based at the Town of Bassendean Depot, this full-time position is worked over a nine-day fortnight with the working hours of 7am to 4pm.

Salary and Benefits

An attractive salary of up to $83,283 per annum is offered for the position plus 9.5% superannuation.

The Town also offers up to 5% additional superannuation (conditions apply), 17.5% leave loading, flexible working hours, free parking, ongoing training and personal development, and two additional holiday days per calendar year.
