We are currently looking for a qualified CSSD Technician to join our friendly and dedicated team at out Southport clinic on a casual basis.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing a safe and sterile supply of medical instruments and equipment to the clinic that assists in the provision of high quality patient care
• Ensuring the CSSD area is clean and maintained to ensure a maximum throughput of equipment and instruments from the dirty area to the clean area
• Ensure that your Nurse Unit Manager has the appropriate number of sterilized packs for the clinic as requested
• Supporting your co-workers wherever possible and to maintain professional working relationships

Qualifications, skills and experience required include the following:

• Certificate III in Sterilization
• Previous experience as a CSSD Technician working in a surgical setting
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• A pro-choice attitude and support for our vision Children by choice, not chance
