Brentwood Park Neighbourhood House is one of twelve (12) Neighbourhood Houses and Community Learning Centres located in the City of Casey. We are a not-for-profit Incorporated Association offering a focal point for community interaction where residents can meet and carry out activities.

About the role

• Permanent part time

Brentwood Park Neighbourhood House is seeking a person to actively engage with our local community in social change through understanding community needs and developing strategies for the creation of appropriate projects or activities.

The successful applicant will be required to have highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills within a community development framework. Applicants will require experience in facilitation of projects and the coordination of staff, an ability to work autonomously and a passion for working with the local community.

To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in Community Development, or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in developing relevant relationships with community members and groups to deliver better community outcomes is necessary.
