The Role

We are seeking to fill vacant night shifts between Monday to Friday, and our night shift is typically 10pm to 7.15am.

We have a number of facilities across the metro area, and interviews can be arranged immediately.  

Registered Nurse positions form part of a multidisciplinary team, and they are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical care for, and with, clients of Brightwater Care Group.

This role delivers inclusive and person-centred quality care and support in accordance with individualised client care plans to ensure optimal service provision that actively promotes choice, independence, and quality of life, in a safe and home like environment.

About you

You should be a qualified Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 3yrs experience, who is able to commit to ongoing night shifts each fortnight. Registered Nurse applications with prior residential aged care experience will be prioritised.

To be successful, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Deliver a strong clinical care service.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead shifts with an empathetic and mentoring approach.
  • Be able to prioritise their workload safely and efficiently with a focus on our clients.
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
  • First Aid Certificate  
  • A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Evidence of up-to-date influenza vaccination

Our Process

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to attend a face-to-face interview, where we will discuss your skills, experience and availability. We will offer you shifts based on your location preference and days/shifts you are available to work.

Brightwater will also require you to complete pre-employment compliance phase including, but not limited to copies of your qualifications, registration, Police Check, NDIS check and references.
