Buttons connects people with a disability to young support workers in a thoughtful and meaningful way. Buttons has developed into an exciting start-up and a business leading the new age of disability support.

We are your advocates. Our process is designed to instil professionalism in your work. We want you to feel confident, capable and empowered to take ownership over your role.

about the role

Our support workers are young individuals who are passionate about the disability sector.

At Buttons, we contract all our workers as we acknowledge the benefits of engaging in support work privately: Increased pay, ownership ​over the role and the ability to develop meaningful relationships. Our service isn't to remove the private nature of your work, but to assist you in formalising your role, safely and professionally.

There are a range of disability support work roles available.

• Flexible hours

Support work with Buttons may include:

• Support with daily living activities
• Support with social and community participation
• Support with independence skill development
• Provision of emotional and/or behavioural support
• Assistance with the implementation of regular therapies
• Assistance with participant transport

Documents needed to be a buttons support worker

• Valid Employee Working With Children's Check
• National Police Check
• Completed NDIS Orientation Module
• COVID-19 Vaccinated (Third Dose)
• ABN
• Up-to-date comprehensive insurance packages
