About the Opportunity:

We are looking for two Employment Case officers. Both positions will be based at our Mayfield office. The Employment Case Officer will provide direct support services to our clients, referred to as participants at Castle, to improve their work readiness. This may include working alongside the participant to assess training, upskilling, conducting barrier management and assisting with placement support.

This position is a Full-Time position primarily based at our Mayfield office, however you may be required to work out of any of our locations from time to time.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Certificate IV in Disability Services or Mental Health or Community Services or equivalent knowledge and at least 3 years of experience
  • Experience or understanding of employment services and working knowledge of strategies to address barriers to employment
  • Adaptable communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts
  • Personal integrity, professionalism and ability to display empathy towards people living with disabilities
  • Ability to contribute to building positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Case management experience within employment, community or rehabilitation services (highly desirable)

Essential Criteria:

  • NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current unrestricted driver licence
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per NSW health orders
  • Willingness to understand and agree with Castle’s Vision, Purpose and Value statements and the ability to apply these values to your own work
