Relief Outreach Women's Health Centre Coordinator - Wyong / Woy Woy

This is an opportunity for a dynamic woman to coordinate the services, programs, operations and administration of our outreach Women’s Health Centre’s on a relief basis for a temporary period.  

We require centre coordination relief at our Northern Women’s Health Centre (NWHC) located at Wyong for 21 days from the 3rd April to the 20th May and our Peninsula Women’s Health Centre (PWHC) located at Woy Woy for 31 days from the 21st May to the 30th July 2024.  This period includes five hand over days to support the relief appointment.

The primary purpose of this senior position is the coordination of women’s health community services and programs at our outreach centres in alignment with the organisational objectives of CCCWHC. 

The Centre Coordinator leads the provision of a diverse, holistic suite of services that meet the health and social welfare needs of women. Programs and services are provided using a trauma informed, person centred feminist approach and include counselling, groups, case management, intake assessment and referral. 

This is a leadership position, both at outreach centre and within CCCWHC and has the support of a broader team of workers across all three Centre’s. The Centre Coordinator is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team working on special projects and, providing guidance and support to other staff and volunteers. 

Coordinator tasks include those related to, centre coordination, supervision of a team of Volunteers, Childcare Workers and CfC program staff and, support of the on-site Counsellor and Case Manager, administration, building management, service development, community development, intake assessment and crisis counselling, advocacy and referral, networking, community education and social action. 

Key role requirements include tertiary qualifications in community services coordination, social work or counselling, Leadership training and experience an understanding of the social model of health and the intersection of feminist principles, community, program and service development experience, excellent administrative, computer, interpersonal, supervisory and organisational skills as well as initiative and enthusiasm. 

Employment Conditions and Rate of Pay:

Casual position. Social, Community Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS) Level 6. Salary packaging is available to eligible successful applicants.
