About the role
The purpose of the Team Leader - NDIS (Coordinator of Supports) is to lead a team of Coordinator of Supports (CoS) & Recovery Coaches (RC) and to oversee and manage the end-to-end activities of the team.
The role will also see you working closely with the Operations Manager - NDIS and require commitment and support to assist CCPC in ensuring future service delivery and growth for NDIS across CCPC.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, Oversee & Manage
- Provide mentoring, guidance and support to team members to assist them in achieving their key competencies
- Participate in the development and implementation of the NDIS workplan
- Monitor and manage risks to participants, staff, and organisation
- Ensure all practices meet NDIS Commissions best practice guidelines by identifying and developing strategies to meet best practice
- Relationship Building
- Assist team members to build professional relationships with stakeholders
- Be an advocate for adopting positive behaviours across CCPC which will enhance relationships and harness the values and vision and best practice for CCPC
- Organise and facilitate the Mental Health Interagency
- Reporting, Monitoring & Tracking
- Report, monitor and track program activities, deliverables and targets inline within budget, working closely with Ops Manager - NDIS to ensure all NDIS targets are being met
- Review and report to the Operations Manager - NDIS on all team KPI’s
- Coordinate the management of team leave notices and approvals

Key Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, Health, Disabilities or equivalent
- Previous experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong understanding of NDIS support items, plans and the concepts of choice and control under the NDIS guidelines
- Knowledge of issues experienced by people living with disabilities (inclusive of psycho-social disability), their families and carers. This should include people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) and from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds
- Ability to identify, prioritise and manage multiple tasks in an environment of competing demands
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively and build rapport with key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as a team member
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience using databases, software, and MS Office suite
- Ability to provide and maintain quality service and portray a professional image on behalf of CCPC at all times
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Eligibility to work in Australia on a permanent basis
- Driver’s license and access to a reliable and insured motor vehicle
- A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment to be obtained and maintained at your own expense
- A valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) to be obtained and maintained at your own expense
Note: Due to NDIS requirements, we are unable to employ for this position without an NDISWC. We therefore strongly encourage applicants to commence the NDISWC application prior to interviews as clearance can take up to six weeks.
