As the Full Stack Web Developer within the Digital Team, you will be responsible for supporting Cancer Council Queensland’s digital projects, from concept to completion, including websites, microsites, integrations and cloud-based applications across all departments in Cancer Council Queensland.
You will be heavily involved in the development of Cancer Council Queensland’s new website based around a headless CMS architecture and implemented using React and NextJS.
The role will require you to be confident when interacting with both internal and stakeholders in gathering all requirements and approvals.
In addition, you will also assist with backend maintenance and troubleshooting within our Azure platform.
To be successful in this role over 3 years of experience in full-stack development with exposure to modern frameworks such as React and NextJS. You are constantly looking at industry best practices to improve performance and user experiences. You know how to interact with APIs and understand how they work. Have an eye for details and can work with CSS and SCSS.
You will have the ability to apply frontend and backend web-based skills in developing resources across all Cancer Council Queensland programs and departments in accordance with the national brand, assist with website and application development projects to ensure they are delivered on time whilst meeting stakeholder expectations and implement and improve security through industry best practices across all projects.
