A unique opportunity to provide evidence-based psychological interventions and contribute to programs which promote the psychological adjustment of people affected by cancer.
You will be a part of the CCQ’s Cancer Counselling Service delivering telehealth and face to face counselling interventions to people affected by cancer and their families.
This role also contributes to the review of Cancer Council resources and the delivery of workshops and presentations on the psychosocial impact of cancer including stress and coping, adjustment, managing uncertainty and fear of cancer recurrence.
This role is Permanent Part-Time, working 22.5 hours per week across three days based in Cancer Council Queensland’s Brisbane office.
To be successful, you will be registered with AHPRA, and have a strong background in telehealth and face to face counselling. You will be able to demonstrate strong case management skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Experience in oncology and or grief and bereavement is highly desirable.
