We are looking for a digital communications coordinator to join our team to help us engage with members, key stakeholders and the public across our digital channels. In this role you will use your creativity to implement our content strategy, learning from analytics to best share the story of our sector through high quality materials for our website, emails, social media and more.
No two days are the same working for a busy industry association. You will have the opportunity to use your graphic design skills, manage our CMS and social media accounts, monitor public interest debates relating to COBA and its members and support management of accounts with external media and communications providers.
COBA is leading advocacy for a more competitive retail banking sector and a champion of the benefits of the customer owned model. Representing Australia’s mutual banks, credit unions and building society you will be sharing the story and purpose of our sector – putting people before profits for more than 150 years in Australia.

Interest or experience in financial services and media is a bonus. This role would suit someone currently working in a marketing or communications team, however new graduates with experience developing their own/ organisation online presence and brand will be considered.

This role can be based in our Sydney or Canberra office. COBA does offer flexible working arrangements including some days working from home. You may be required to travel between the locations occasionally for photography and filming as needed.
