We are Carinya Home for the Aged. We're a community-based, not for profit organisation that has been providing accommodation and care since 1977 to the Atherton Tablelands community. Our residential aged care service offers accommodation care to elderly citizens in a 131-bed facility.

We're currently looking for three talented, intuitive Registered Nurses to join our team in the roles of Clinical Care Leaders, responsible for resident case management and managing the clinical care teams in one of three wings of the facility.

You'll draw upon your leadership skills as you'll be responsible for staff management of care teams including training, competency assessments, performance appraisals and managing staffing levels.

Being a nurse, you're already a compassionate, caring individual by definition. You wouldn't have a career if that weren't the case. But you've got something extra. You're passionate and driven, with a relationship-centred approach to care and a genuine interest in working with the aged.

It goes without saying that you will have current AHPRA Registration in Registered Nursing and a few years' experience in Aged Care or Chronic Disease Management, but you'll also need experience with coordinating residential care and leading a team by example. Your in-depth understanding and experience with ACFI will be crucial, as will your high level of professional communication skills, including report and professional letter writing.

One of these positions will require advanced knowledge and/or experience in working with aged care residents with dementia.
