As Field Education Academic Lead (Social Work), you will enable the CDU Social Work students to integrate practice and theory through skills development intensives and organisational field placements, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students.

This role will work with support and guidance from more senior academic colleagues, and within the Australian Social Work Education and Accreditation Standards.

About You

To be successful, you will possess:

  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent level of field experience in Social Work
  • The ability to contribute to the development of units/courses and student resources (including for online and face-to-face teaching)
  • Excellent professional teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to represent the University at a range of forums, and to liaise, communicate, negotiate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and partners to deliver a valued service and achieve agreed outcomes

Remuneration

This position is classified as Teaching Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range $104,167 to $123,161 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $121,875 - $144,098 per annum including 17% superannuation.
