ClimateWorks Australia is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia and Asia Pacific. It was co-founded in 2009 by The Myer Foundation and Monash University and works within the Monash Sustainable Development Institute. ClimateWorks Australia also benefits from strong relationships with an international network of affiliated organisations that support effective policies, financing and action for greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
We are currently seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join our dedicated team of professionals. You will be part of the ClimateWorks National Programs Team, providing support for the successful delivery of projects to accelerate emissions reductions within the Missions Possible program, focused on net zero emissions in Australian industry.
In this role, you will contribute to a national and global initiative to catalyse a transition towards net zero in the various sectors within the Mission Possible program. You will provide support within a close-knit and collaborative team, with a focus on project management, communications and engagement with a wide range of government, industry, research and community sector stakeholders. Given the focus of the role is on industry, experience within this sector is welcome.
