How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne:
The role of the Library Shelver is to work closely with any City of Melbourne Libraries team members to provide high quality library services to the community.
The Library Shelver is responsible for the management, sorting, shelving, and display of library materials under guidance and supervision from the Operations Librarian, and occasionally the shift supervisor for the current circulation desk shift. The position will maintain a neat and accurate collection by shelving and shelf reading, and when required, the position will perform other library duties and provide support where necessary to meet operational requirements.
