In partnership with Community Hubs Australia, our school operates an on-site Community Hub. The space welcomes families from a refugee or migrant background, particularly mothers with young children, using place-based programs to connect, share and learn. The hub bridges the gap between families who have recently arrived in Australia and the wider community by connecting them with organisations that can provide health, education and settlement support. The Community Hub Leader will have the following role and key responsibilities:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates interested applying for the position of Community Liaison Officer (Community Hub Leader) at Colyton Public School.
This is a part-time temporary position 25 hours per week, concluding at the end of the 2022 school year with the possibility of extension.
Applicants need to have a current WWCC and be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
