Community Learning Centre (CLC) is located inside the Rowville Community Centre. We are a not-for-profit organisation, providing a diverse range of programs and services, including adult education courses, wellbeing programs, support groups and venue hire. We offer a warm, welcoming and informal environment.

The Role

The Manager supervises and guides the staff, volunteers and contractors by driving high quality community engagement through the provision of services including but not limited to programs and room hire. Working collaboratively within the organisation, the focus of this role is on management, communication and sourcing funding.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST DEMONSTRATE:

• Management experience
• Command of community development principles and practice, preferably in a Neighbourhood House environment
• Strong capacity in developing and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders including staff, volunteers, supporters and patrons
• The ability to oversee, and be accountable for, the compliant and successful operation of the ACFE operations
• The ability to identify community needs and to plan, develop, monitor, implement and evaluate high-quality programs to meet those needs
• High level analytical administrative, organisational, and negotiation skills
