Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity exists for the right person to join our passionate team of NDIS Support Coordinators at Connecting Futures Australia in our Bendigo and Echuca offices.

Connecting Futures Australia is a local NDIS provider based in the Loddon Murray region (head office Bendigo), focused on working with NDIS participants to help them achieve their life and career goals through:

  • Level 2 – Support Coordination
  • Level 3 - Specialist Support Coordination

Locations:

  • 112 Hattam St, Golden Gully
  • 195 Hare St, Echuca

The role

As a Support Coordinator at Connecting Futures Australia you will be a key support for NDIS participants and families in building capacity around understanding the NDIS and being the conduit between NDIS speak and real life.

Key areas include:

  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of participants NDIS plan
  • Assist in identifying and accessing suitable funded and mainstream supports
  • Building capacity for participants to truly have choice and control on their NDIS plans
  • Plan review reporting and meeting support
  • Be a problem solver and information gatherer for participants and families
  • Stakeholder engagement across multiple sectors
  • Maintain a currency around NDIS changing framework
  • Work across funded support providers
  • Assure the participant comes before personal beliefs

Right person to join our team

We have a growing caseload at both level 2 Support Coordination and Level 3 Specialist Support Coordination. To be a great fit for the role you will possess the following skills and knowledge.

  • Experienced Support Coordinator or Specialist Support Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Sound understanding of the NDIS and operational guidelines
  • High emotional Intelligence
  • Experienced in the Community Services field with strong community connections and networks across NDIS providers, Mainstream supports and community sector
  • Exceptional time management and scheduling skills
  • Able to work across multiple priorities across caseloads
  • Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience working within the NDIS framework
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Well-developed communication skills with the capacity to engage at all levels
  • Sound report writing skills
  • Work well in a changing environment
  • Have an ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter, with a high degree of imitative and problem-solving skills across multiple sectors
  • Experienced in working in a team environment that is open and transparent with a person-centred focus
  • A passion and tenacious attitude towards supporting participants and Families while embracing a changing environment
