Convenience Advertising (CA) is a specialist media and advertising agency and a leader in the delivery of narrowcast advertising solutions to Australian and international organisations. CA uses narrowcast to communicate information to the public via a network of A4 advertising in bathroom areas. The programs can be public health (anything that reduces harm in the community) or commercial advertising. Advertising campaigns included sexual health, drink driving, illicit drug use and drink spiking along with commercial advertising within the Australian Advertising Standards booked by advertising and media booking agencies.
The position of Account Manager has been created to provide support to the CEO and senior leadership team in the development of the Convenience Advertising commercial and government client base, by ensuring the timely delivery of all campaign and client requirements.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Support the CEO on an assigned group of customers to achieve project and/or campaign outcomes;
- Support the development of targeted campaign proposals in response to tenders or client briefs, including background research;
- Supporting the CEO, and marketing team on new product and/or client opportunities as they arise;
- Provide information to the marketing team regarding industry or sector group status and recommend plans to maximise future business;
- Client presentations with service and support groups, highlighting company product and services in a planned strategy to develop profitable business;
- Monitor developments in the public health and commercial arena and general advertising world to forecast the opportunities for company products;
- Research issues and topics such as new media and digital media trends using online databases, websites and other publications.
- Our preferred candidate will have excellent verbal and written interpersonal communications skills, a strong relationship sales focus and the ability to work autonomously and meet monthly targets and KPIs. They will be tertiary qualified in an appropriate discipline and ideally have an understanding of the advertising industry.
