The Cruelty Free Shop is Australia’s favourite purveyor of everything vegan. We stock the widest range of vegan products including food, health, fashion, beauty, and household items.

Our shops are safe spaces where people of all walks of life can freely and openly embrace a cruelty free life, without fear of bullying, harassment, or negativity. We seek to create spaces where vegans and vegan-curious alike feel welcome to both explore veganism, and to participate in vegan outreach and public education about animal rights. Part of being a member of our team is making time to answer questions and provide information to about veganism or animal rights.

We are looking for a very special person to assist in managing our huge Fitzroy store! Our lovely supervisor is moving back home to New Zealand which has created a great job opportunity. Could this be the one for you?

You would be looking to continue a career in retail management, and already have supervisor experience, as well as being great with sales.

You would be leading a small team, and be responsible for many aspects of the running of the shop including; staff supervision, setting shifts, general shop maintenance, sales, invoices and inventory, merchandising, customer service, internal communications, cash handling, working to sales targets and KPIs etc.

You will have a thorough knowledge of and passion for the vegan lifestyle and products, be highly organised and detail oriented, with excellent communication skills. You will have experience in staff supervision.
