The Manager of Child Protection Policy plays a key role in setting the direction and delivery of policy and reform development in the child protection system. As the owner of policy and policy instruments (e.g. case work practice mandates, policy and guidance) from design through to implementation, you will have a key role in shaping which children enter the child protection system and how they and their families are supported so they can safely leave it.
As Manager Child Protection Policy, you will:
Candidates must have subject matter expertise in child protection or out-of-home care and/or policy making expertise. Ideal candidates will also have experience of working with Aboriginal people and community, in project management and implementation/change management.
