Manage and lead a team of Children’s Registrars and support staff to facilitate mediation and conciliation conferences and perform case management functions in the Children’s Court in accordance with relevant legal requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have advanced verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all stakeholder groups.
You exhibit high levels of integrity, professionalism, sound judgment, discretion and initiative whilst managing competing priorities within a high pressure work environment.
Provide leadership and advice to a team of professionals across New South Wales, and exercise legal functions of a Children’s Registrar in accordance with relevant legislation.
Manage the conduct of conciliation conferences in the care and protection jurisdiction and mediation conferences in the education jurisdiction of the Children’s Court to ensure disadvantaged families are equipped to participate in court proceedings and decisions relating to their children.
Provide support to the President and the Executive Officer of the Children’s Court to respond to emerging issues and develop and implement initiatives that improve court practice.
