The Prisoner Disability Support Initiative (PDSI) will better support the rehabilitation of prisoners with disability and complex needs and their transition back into the community. Join us and make your mark in establishing this best practice initiative.
We are currently seeking clinicians for the following locations:
If you want to challenge yourself in a forensic setting and help set the standard for complex needs treatment within corrections, we want to hear from you.
Building on your experience working with people with disability and complex needs, your role will focus on delivering newly established services as well as provide support and treatment.
As part of our team, you will provide support to both metro and regional correctional facilities which will involve some travel to regional Victoria.

Eligibility

Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include national police checks and misconduct screening. You will also need to possess a current Victorian driver’s licence.

Corrections Victoria (CV) is responsible for the direction, management and operation of Victoria's corrections system, which incorporates prisons and Community Correctional Services (CCS). As a service agency within the Department of Justice & Community Safety, CV develops and implements policies, programs and services that ensure the safe and secure containment of prisoners, and that seek to rehabilitate offenders by addressing the underlying causes of offending behaviour.
