NSW Planning is seeking diverse and talented Senior Planning Officers to help with stakeholder engagement, development assessments, and delivery across a series of new, ambitious projects.

  • Are you proactive, flexible and quick to respond when situations change?
  • Are you collaborative in working through challenges?
  • Are you an effective communicator, who has experience in development assessment and working with a range of stakeholders?
  • Are you customer-service focused?
  • Are you a critical thinker, with experience in making research-backed recommendations to support decision making and resolve challenges?

Essential Requirements 

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and project management.
  • While a tertiary degree in environmental science, environmental management, or planning is preferred, we welcome applicants with qualifications from planning aligned industries such as engineering, architecture, urban design or other equivalent qualifications.
