Dalkeith Road Church of Christ in partnership with Bethesda Healthcare are recruiting for a full-time Chaplain for the position of Spiritual Care Coordinator based at the Bethesda Claremont Hospital.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the spiritual care of palliative care patients, general hospital patients, families of patients, and the staff at the hospital. The purpose of the position is to assess their spiritual and emotional needs and, using evidence-based knowledge, provide appropriate support and resources to meet the identified needs.

The incumbent will be a member of the Dalkeith Road Church of Christ ministry team as well as the Bethesda team. They will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager – Palliative Care at Bethesda. Dalkeith Road Church will provide additional care and support for them ensuring that they are a part of a spiritual community and that their spiritual life is kept strong and active. 

A competitive salary is on offer including the ability to salary sacrifice up to 70% of the salary under the ATO approved guidelines.
