We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration and learning & development professional to join the Emmy Monash Aged Care team. This is a newly created position within the People & Culture department, and will require a dedicated person with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, who can juggle competing priorities and provide efficient administrative, training, and operational support to the organisation. This multi-faceted role will be responsible for the development and facilitation of our training activities, to help ensure the workforce is up-to-date and compliant with all training requirements. It will also supervise the day-to-day operational aspects of the reception / administration function and will help coordinate operational rosters and workforce planning activities in collaboration with supervisors and other key stakeholders.

The responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the ongoing planning, coordination and implementation of training materials, presentations and professional resources, and oversee life cycle management of learning programs
- Serve as the first point of contact for learning & development / professional development / student placement queries
- Maintaining the organisation’s LMS
- Manage the orientation / onboarding process for new staff members
- Prepare and maintain data and reports, including program evaluations, competencies, training attendance records and learning schedules
- Manage, support and provide advice to the reception / administration team
- Provide roster coordination and administrative support to the Operations department

Qualification & Experience:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and/or equivalent L&D experience.
- Experience developing and delivering training and presentations.
- Previous experience managing a high performing team.
- Previous experience in roster coordination.
- Demonstrable experience in managing competing priorities.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrable ability to problem solve and manage high pressure situations.
- Resilience and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong technological skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
