About the Role:

As Endeavour Foundation continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our Head Office in Cannon Hill!

In this role you will support our amazing Financial Accounting team to deliver accurate and timely monthly reports while also collaborating with your Finance colleagues and other teams in the wider organisation! Other key tasks will include:

• End to end payroll journal processing for fortnightly payrolls
• Assisting with processing leave provisions journals and processing prepayments
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and analysis of profit and loss account balances
• Assisting with the relevant year-end audit procedures and auditor
  queries
• Maintaining accurate accounting documentation records
  
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly board reports

What you will bring to the role?

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Degree Qualifications in Accounting or Business; CPA or CA qualified or working towards
• Previous accounting experience within large, complex organisation
• Competent in accounting software packages (Dynamic AX preferred)
• Demonstrated problem solving skills: identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing solutions using a logical and systematic approach
• Great communication skills and the ability to build strong work relationships
