About the Role
As the Endeavour Foundation continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have a fantastic opportunity for a NDIS Coordinator to join our team.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do! With that in mind, key responsibilities will include:
Supporting customers to make informed choice and exercise control to maximise their independence
Focusing on the customer as a whole person, ensuring their NDIS plan reflects the support they require
Completing NIDS planning documents for customers that are accurate and fit for purpose
Building and maintaining relationships and ongoing communication with customers, customer nominees and service delivery
Advocating for our customers during NDIA planning meetings, ensuring they are well prepared and versed in their goals and support needs
Developing and driving best practice across all frontline leader groups as the subject matter expert in supported employment and supported living
Conducting an ‘on boarding’ and ‘review’ approach for all customers to maximise funding opportunities
What you will bring to the role:
Demonstrated experience working with a customer base and supporting them in the removal of barriers and working towards solutions
Strong working knowledge of the NDIS and what it means for customers and Endeavour Foundation
A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of Endeavour Foundation and the ability to model these behaviours
Ability to work autonomously, applying a high level of organisation skills to effectively manage customer caseload and meet deadlines
Knowledge of, or experience working with people with an intellectual disability
High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a team, with customers and with various stakeholders
Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Formal qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related discipline would be advantageous however are not essential
