About the role:

The primary responsibility of this role is to support Energetics’ work for major clients, developing and implementing renewable energy, energy storage, electrification and microgrid projects. The position offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to large, complex projects and deliver innovative and leading edge services working in partnership with a nationally recognised and well regarded organisation.

About you:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with a combination of a number of elements including:

  • a solid understanding of renewable technologies and MW-scale behind the meter installations
  • experience delivering renewable energy projects either as a developer, contractor, consultant or client
  • project management experience
  • experience undertaking feasibility studies and technoeconomic analysis, including developing tools/models to support these analysis
  • technical knowledge of BESS
  • renewable energy contract execution/administration
  • an Engineering qualification (preferably electrical)
  • an ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • collaboration skills in multi-disciplinary teams and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Please note that all candidates must be Australian citizens and be willing to apply for and maintain an Australian Government baseline security clearance.

It’s advantageous though not essential to have:

  • experience working within government in a project delivery role
  • experience working with the Department of Defence (either in-house or as a contractor)
  • knowledge of energy markets
  • solar PV modelling capability e.g. PVsyst, Helioscope
  • experience in developing or delivering microgrid projects
