This role has it all from setting up and leading the implementation team, to collaborating with stakeholders to design, develop and implement new regulatory functions. Coupled with energy efficient, lovely new CBD offices, complete with gym and spa, and hybrid working.

To be successful in the role you will bring

  • Exceptional program management, project management and change management skills
  • Strong people and stakeholder leadership skills
  • The ability to synthesise complex, technical information and communicate it effectively to non technical and executive audiences
  • The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, delivering on time and under budget.

The Essential Services Commission is Victoria's independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by a range of industries. The commission's functions include:

  • making regulatory decisions with respect to prescribed industries (including price determinations, licensing, customer protection and access disputes).
  • undertaking reviews and providing advice to Ministers on a range of economic and regulatory matters.
  • administering the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.
