As a First Nations Program Officer, you will work closely with the First Nations Executive Director and First Nations Director to coordinate programs under FYA’s strategy to build the power of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people to heal injustice and transform the future.
With coaching and guidance, you will work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and communities on coordinating projects, building movements, running training and/or supporting campaigns.
This role is a learning and development opportunity: you will gain training and experience in project management, strategy, campaigning, co-design, media, budgeting and capacity building.
We’re looking for passionate, reflective, determined Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who want to develop their skills and contribute to lasting impact by helping unlock the power of First Nations young people to achieve First Nations justice and social change.
