ABOUT THE ROLE

The Family Place are a not-for-profit community based family support and community service based in Moruya and Bega. We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to provide financial support to the Operations Manager ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with organisational procedures.

SELECTION CRITERIA TO BE ADDRESSED IN COVER LETTER

• Recent experience and knowledge of XERO or similar software
• Experience using MS Office suite including MS Excel
• Accounts payable and reconciliation experience
• Data entry and record maintenance experience
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliability and strong work ethic
• Proven time management skills

Desirable Qualities

• Experience working in a not-for-profit that supports vulnerable and diverse people
• Well-developed communication skills developed in a range of settings and contexts
