Working in collaboration with the Communications team, the Internal Communications Officer partners with key internal stakeholders to plan and execute multi-channel communications campaigns.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Communications Team to implement internal communications campaigns, events and activities in line with strategic priorities.
  • Plan, edit, write and review content for key internal communications channels, including intranet, staff, and CEO updates.
  • Project manage and provide support for the design, production and distribution of internal communications campaigns.
  • Support staff to uphold visual brand with templates and resources as required to ensure consistency of visual identity.
  • Develop and coordinate the annual internal content and event calendar.
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums, reflect the Forensicare brand and tone for internal stakeholders
  • Partner with internal stakeholders in the development and implementation of internal communications to bring about successful outcomes for organisation-wide initiatives.
  • Support colleagues to develop campaigns that engage a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse audiences and deliver business objectives around workplace and change.

About you

Ideally you will have:

  • A proven track record of planning and delivering successful internal communications plans and campaigns
  • An understanding of the importance of storytelling that supports organisational purpose and brand in action in written, video or graphic form
  • Experience in building positive stakeholder relationships that build trust, credibility and deliver mutual outcomes
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively depending on the audience, channel and publication
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and connect the dots between differing initiatives to engage people in our future vision through stories and content
  • Demonstrated experience working with web and intranet platforms and digital tools like SharePoint, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
