headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Tuggeranong work to improve health, social and vocational/educational outcomes for young people.
Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Tuggeranong. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality services. Services focus on physical health, mental health, youth health, Aboriginal health & chronic disease management. Grant Pacific Health covers a large portion of South Eastern NSW, the A.C.T and Murrumbidgee region. The Family Clinician will work with the headspace team, young people and their family, carers and friends to provide an evidence-based, family inclusive service to people accessing the headspace centre. The Family Clinician will also support the headspace team in the work they do with families, take a lead in developing relationships and referral pathways with family services in the Canberra region as well as lead the teams approach to family and carer involvement in service development.
This position is part time (22.5hrs/week) fixed term until 30 June 2022 with possibility for extension. The part time roster (hours and days) is negotiable.
