Gateway Family Services is a family support service founded by Blaxland Uniting Church. We provide a range of services to support and strengthen families in the Blue Mountains and Penrith LGAs. Gateway applies a solution-focused, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to our clients and our staff.

We are currently seeking an experienced Art Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. The Art Therapist will ensure all client families receive an excellent quality of care. The successful applicant will deliver a range of interventions including individual art therapy sessions with children, dyadic work with family members, art based group work and community art projects.

What we need from you:

• A passion to make a difference in the lives of children and young people
• Experience working with vulnerable children, their families and communities
• Tertiary qualifications in Art Therapy or equivalent
• Current membership of ANZACATA (or eligibility for membership)
• Available to work 2 days per week from our Katoomba office
• A commitment to Gateway Family Services Vision and Values
