As we continue our extensive growth and expansion, Gateways is excited to announce we’re seeking a new Senior Assessor (Psychologist) to be a part of establishing our new Autism Assessment Centre. This role will be integral to help build a new Autism Assessment Team from the ground up.
Reporting to the Delivery Lead – Assessment and Specialist Support you will work closely with the team completing Autism assessments in line with the ADOS and in consultation with the client’s Paediatrician meeting funding targets. Behavioural consultancy will also be required to families, staff and generic services.
This position is based from our North Geelong office and is full-time however a part-time position is open to negotiation with a minimum of 2 days per week.

You will be required to apply for an NDIS Worker Screening Check. This check includes a national criminal records check, and will cost you $119.40. The check is valid for 5 years.
Successful applicants will be required to supply a current Working with Children check for an employee. If you have lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months in the last 10 years, you will be required to supply an international police check from the country where you lived. Employment cannot commence until this check is received and assessed.
Shortlisted applicants will also be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’ prior to attending induction. This is a pre-employment requirement and if not completed, employment will not proceed.
