Greatest Good is a digital ecosystem connecting conscious consumers with for-purpose organisations (social enterprises, charities and other NFPs, B Corps) for the greatest good.
We are an early-stage social enterprise seeking a passionate and experienced Ecommerce Coordinator to create positive social impacts.
This is a technical hands-on position, handling the day-to-day digital and back-end tech requirements. You will be responsible for a wide scope of eCommerce functions including optimising the technology and interfaces, uploading and modifying products, implementing content, conversion rate and performance improvement initiatives.
The role increases the awareness of Greatest Good, its digital ecosystem and service offering, and ultimately, the social impact of Greatest Good and its members. You will assist consumers and organisations to connect to and engage with the ecosystem, including on-boarding and ongoing support as required. Consistent with working for an early-stage firm, you will have lots of variety and get involved in a range of projects and ongoing tasks.
You will be instrumental in ensuring we are on a journey of continuous improvement by exhibiting a curious nature that leads to growth and improvement on our websites that sets the tone for a true customer-lead online user experience.
We are offering a permanent part-time position of 2-4 days per week, with some flexibility on days/hours. The role is on-site for the probation period (Melbourne inner south/bayside, close to public transport), then evolves into a hybrid role involving a combination of remote and on-site work.
The role
- Maintaining the front and back end of the digital ecosystem - a combination of website, marketplace and posts
- Putting the customer first in every decision with demonstrated experience of improving the conversion rate and the overall online customer journey
- Managing the set up and maintenance of all products, services and posts, including assisting for-purpose organisations and service provider members with onboarding and ongoing activities
- Ensuring product and other content is accurately represented and optimised for the customer journey, with SEO, SEM and copy writing across product descriptions and website pages as required, including sourcing relevant imagery as required
- Playing an active role in identifying valuable site enhancements
- Creating and testing all enhancements and core releases across the website and digital ecosystem
- Driving growth and customer acquisition strategies
- Managing, analysing and reporting on key web performance metrics, providing actionable insights on customer patterns and behaviours to improve and achieve business KPI’s and marketing strategies
- End-to-end management of social media posts, SEO and A/B testing
- EDM and email marketing campaigns
- Newsletter design and input
- Project analysis, recommendation and implementation of complementary/integrated business tech solutions
Your experience
- Significant Magento ecommerce experience required
- Ecommerce qualifications, plus at least 2 years relevant work experience working on digital platforms and marketplaces
- Shopify and other ecommerce tools and apps experience preferred
- Experience using meta data for SEO including Meta product classifications, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other Google products
- Proven ability to capture and collate data in a presentable and useful way, combined with desire to turn analysis into measurable results is essential
- Strong competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Canva
- Proficiency in light HTML coding, web, CMS, layout, user experience, A/B testing, identifying target audiences and driving website traffic, engagement, results and reporting
- Experience in optimising website UX including via landing pages and user funnels
- Demonstrated experience balancing data driven decision making with creating problem solving
- Experience with predictive intelligence tools
- Experience with CRM or similar database environment, as well as EDM
- Copywriting experience, including content creation across websites, social media platforms and newsletters
