The Role:
We are currently seeking a Project Partnerships Specialist to join the GreenCollar team based in Cairns. Reporting to the Project Partnerships Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with Partnerships and Delivery to establish and maintain ongoing client relationships throughout the development and management of GreenCollar’s environmental market projects. This role is based in Cairns, FNQ and will include some regional travel.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining positive and productive working relationships with GreenCollar’s project partners including pastoralists, land managers, farmers, the Clean Energy Regulator, the Reef Credit Secretariat and other key stakeholders across the business
- Relationship management throughout the project life cycle, from on-boarding new clients and managing relationships long-term, with a focus on Water Quality projects
- Management of the project application processes including analysis of potential projects against relevant eligibility criteria
- Coordination and support in the development and negotiation of legal contracts and other documentation
- Coordinating project partners and others across the business to collect, track, compile and record information needed to successfully deliver GreenCollar’s projects
- Travel to regional areas to attend engagement meetings, workshops and audits
- Represent GreenCollar at community field days, conferences, and other events sponsored by or involving GreenCollar
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated client services experience including working with internal teams and external partners to advance projects
- Proven relationship building and management skills and experience
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Experience in coordinating the collection of information from a range of sources and people and the ability to collate information in a way that can be communicated effectively with external stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within designated timeframes
- Experience working with CRM systems and project management tools
- Experience with the use of ARCGIS / QLD Globe or similar tools not required but desirable
- Experience and/or knowledge of landscape and agricultural systems such as commercial horticultural farming and gully and wetland systems not required but desirable
- Project management skills not required but desirable
- High attention to detail
- Superior work ethic with drive and passion for positive agricultural and environmental outcomes
